Why “3rd Shift”?

The name says it all. Our founder, Shane, has worked the third shift for as long as he can remember. Late nights, early mornings, and a schedule that’s completely opposite from the rest of the world. If you’ve ever worked third shift, you know — it makes everything harder. Finding time to handle life’s problems during “normal business hours” feels almost impossible.

Shane knows what it’s like to face a housing crisis while working those hours. He went through his own situation where he nearly lost his home. The hardest part wasn’t just the financial pressure — it was not having the knowledge or information to fight back. Working third shift made it even more difficult to research options, make phone calls during business hours, or find someone who could actually help.

When he finally found the information he needed, he realized something important: there are a lot of people out there who don’t know they have options. The banks, the lenders, the system in general — it’s not set up to help normal working people. It’s not designed to give you a fair shot or make sure you understand your rights.

That realization is what started 3rd Shift Homes — to provide real information, real solutions, and a fair way out for hardworking people who deserve a fair deal, no matter what shift they work.
